We really need your help:

Jubilee Iraq is a network of volunteers. The more people involved in the campaign the more likely we are to succeed. All you need is access to the internet and some time and energy. Many of us are busy professionals, but just a few well spent hours a week can have a big impact. Pick a team which appeals to you, or just email mail[at]jubileeiraq.org and tell us about yourself and how you would like to help:

  • The Network Team > getting support from organisations and prominent people.
  • The Media Team > spreading the word to the press and improving the website.
  • The Legal Team > building a groundbreaking odious debt arbitration tribunal.
  • The Arabic Team > developing the campaign in the Arab and Muslim world.
  • The European Team > developing the campaign in Europe (inc. Russia).
  • The American Team > developing the campaign in the US and Canada.
  • The Pacific Team > developing the campaign in Japan, China and Australia.
  • The Southern Team > building solidarity with other poor indebted countries.

  • Co-ordinate Jubilee Iraq in your country - we urgently need represenatives in all the creditor countries.
  • Research the issues, get in touch if you can add to the information here.
  • Tell your friends, company, mosque, church, trade union, gym...
  • Network organisations or influential people to support Jubilee Iraq.
  • Write a letter to a newspaper.
  • Translate some of this website into another language
  • Design posters, leaflets etc. and send us a copy to put online.
  • Suggest improvements we can make to the website.
